Launching Fall 2026

The Toddler Visit

Infant and Child Emergency Certification or renewal, toddler car seat install, an updated child-proofing plan for a mobile child, and a toddler choking deep-dive.

The Toddler Visit

For families with a child between 9 and 18 months. Recommended as a follow-up as your child becomes mobile, but available to any family regardless of child age.

Every visit ends with three things done

  • Every adult in the room, up to six, renews their certification with hands-on practice focused on the choking and first aid scenarios most relevant to toddlers, including the specific foods and situations that cause the most incidents at this age. New families complete full certification. Both cover infant and child CPR, choking response, AED use, and pediatric first aid.
  • Up to two car seats inspected and installed for your toddler's current stage by a CPST-certified technician.
  • An updated written plan identifying key hazards for a mobile child, reviewed with your family before we leave.

What your certification covers

  • Infant CPR
  • Child CPR
  • Infant choking response
  • Toddler and child choking response
  • AED (defibrillator) use
  • Pediatric first aid: burns, bleeding, allergic reactions, seizures, poisoning, and more
  • When to call 911 and what to tell the dispatcher

Need more than six adults certified or more than two car seats installed? Email us after booking and we will add it on.

What your visit looks like, step by step.

  1. 1
    0:00 – 0:15

    Welcome and updated plan walkthrough

A quick read on where your child is developmentally and what has changed at home, then we walk through the updated plan together before anything begins.

  2. 2

  3. 3
    1:00 – 1:50

    Certification Renewal

A focused hands-on renewal session covering the skills that matter most at this stage. Refreshes infant and child CPR, choking response, and AED use, with concentrated practice on toddler-specific choking scenarios including common high-risk foods and portion sizes. Every adult receives an updated AHA course completion card valid for two more years. Approximately 50 minutes for returning certified adults. New families complete full certification.

  4. 4

  5. 5
    2:10 – 2:35

    Updated baby proofing plan review

Room by room with the refreshed plan, now built for a child who is pulling up, cruising, and climbing. From here, you can DIY or add our installation service.

  6. 6
    2:35 – 2:50

    Wrap-up and updated written summary

A complete written summary of every hazard and updated next step, in your hands before we leave.

Note: Adults who did not complete the Before Baby Visit, or whose prior AHA certification has expired, must finish the online course portion (3 to 5 hours, self-paced) before the visit. A link is sent in your booking confirmation. Returning families with a current card can skip the online portion.

Request Your Visit

Before your visit

A short phone video walkthrough is required for all bookings.

A short phone video walkthrough of your home, room by room, is required for all bookings at least one week before your visit. This is how we build your written child proofing plan before we arrive, so the visit is spent reviewing, refining, and actioning, not starting from scratch. Instructions and a secure upload link are sent in your booking confirmation. Every video is treated with full discretion and deleted after your visit.

A note on car seats

Car seats should be checked before every use. A single safe installation does not guarantee safe use forever. Harness fit, recline angle, and install tightness can shift with daily use, growth, and seat changes. Our CPST will teach you what to look for so you can confirm a safe ride, every ride.
