The Toddler Visit
For families with a child between 9 and 18 months. Recommended as a follow-up as your child becomes mobile, but available to any family regardless of child age.
Every visit ends with three things done
- Every adult in the room, up to six, renews their certification with hands-on practice focused on the choking and first aid scenarios most relevant to toddlers, including the specific foods and situations that cause the most incidents at this age. New families complete full certification. Both cover infant and child CPR, choking response, AED use, and pediatric first aid.
- Up to two car seats inspected and installed for your toddler's current stage by a CPST-certified technician.
- An updated written plan identifying key hazards for a mobile child, reviewed with your family before we leave.
What your certification covers
- Infant CPR
- Child CPR
- Infant choking response
- Toddler and child choking response
- AED (defibrillator) use
- Pediatric first aid: burns, bleeding, allergic reactions, seizures, poisoning, and more
- When to call 911 and what to tell the dispatcher
